I believe therapy is about transformation which helps one become a stronger person, with greater capacity to accept and deal with life events and changes. While it can be terrifying reaching out for help, therapy is one of the biggest personal investments one will ever make in his or her life. I find it rewarding to walk with clients from their fears and hardships towards inner peace, optimism, and freedom to live.
I use the unique therapy relationship that we develop together to help me understand you and your difficulties, and to help you heal and grow. I strive to provide a safe and supportive environment in which you can grow to be more self-aware and to enrich your world and personal relationships. My practice covers a broad spectrum of personal and emotional issues including chronic illness and pain, depression, anxiety, grief and loss. In addition, I specialize in difficulties due to trauma, abuse, self-esteem, family relationships and cultural differences. I am bi-cultural and bi-lingual in English and Vietnamese, and have provided cross-cultural seminars in Bay Area corporations and communities. I have also taught in the Graduate Counseling Psychology Program at Santa Clara University.
Your mental and emotional health is important and I welcome you. Please call my office at (408)345-2323 or visit my website at www.tamanhpham.com for more information.
